Arrived at Heathrow at 5.30am only to discover that my son’s flight from Oslo had been cancelled because of heavy snow. Fortunately the Norwegians are pretty efficient and by 9am the airport had reopened and my son was on his way. Only problem was whether he would make it to the Lane in time. By midday I was outside the Bricklayers to meet the first of my ticket contacts. The saga of my tickets is a long one but it all worked out well……………..eventually. I must admit that by the end of it all, I felt like some shady character wheeling and dealing (bit like my brother in real life really). Once I had secured the 2nd Man U ticket and the first Derby one, I was able to relax a bit and downed a few pints at The Bricklayers. Fame, I want to live forever! Thanks to James, our ugly mugs are now featured in this months Hotspur Magazine in the Round Your Way section.

So we have a new site then. Spurs in Hong Kong will be updated with articles and information hopefully on a daily basis. Firstly I just need to get the presentation and colours and everything finalised but this will be a living breathing thing. The idea is that the site should be open and available for any of us to update our stuff so if Danny Boy or BC has the match report it can be posted by them on here with its own lovely header and photos and stuff without going through admin. Maybe ETP has another article to fire off which he can upload as he wished from the comfort of his bed. We can post up the venue for forthcoming matches or anything that catches our eyes. It should be a community site. The old static websites that just sit there are dead. This site(on paper) should be a huge growing thing changing at least once a day. For example, even today Janek could have posted the Spurs players on international duty as a simple article in a few minutes.
