Spurs linked with Real Trio
Every year we are linked with a host of top players that we get excited about signing only for most of them not to be true. This year I hope it’s different! We have been linked with a triple swoop for Real Madrid’s Dutch strike force of Arjen Robben , Klass-Jan Huntelaar and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The major shake up at the Bernabeu seeing Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo both complete moves to the Spanish giants means that some of their former star players are now surplus to requirement as Real Madrid again look like entering a Galacticos period.
These players are top quality players and would certainly improve the first team. With both Bent and Pavlyuchenko being linked with moves away from the club these could the ideal replacements that may be available for a good price as Real will be keen to get them off of their wage bill.
Players of this quality are what we need to see in a Spurs shirt next season if we are to progress and challenge for honours and a European spot.

Bentley could leave
We signed David Bentley last summer after watching him produce some excellent displays for Blackburn, but after a disappointing season the midfielder could be set to leave already.
Bentley hasn’t really shown his true talent in a Spurs shirt this season and has come in for some sever criticism from the support as he struggled to justify his £15 million transfer fee. Aston Villa have been linked with a move for the player as it is believed Redknapp has not been convinced with the player who has only made fleeting appearances this year is keen to get rid.
Manchester City have also been linked with the player as part of a deal o bring Martin Petrov to the club but it is believed Villa are the favourites at the moment to sign the England international.

Harry interested in Tevez
We have reportedly been linked with a move for Carlos Tevez but face stiff competition from other Premiership clubs as well as trying to finance the deal.
Tevez is a fantastic player and one I would love to pull on a Spurs shirt but if the figures that are being talked about are to be believed we are out of the race for his signature before it has even begun.
Liverpool are reported to be preparing a £50 million bid, by the time wages are taken into account. These types of figures we just can’t afford and to be honest he is not a £50 million player.
We certainly need a few signings in the summer to improve the squad for next year but it is unlikely that Tevez will be one of them.

Jenas key for going forward
We have had a tough season this time round with a lot of problem at the beginning but with Harry we now look more assured and solid and have an excellent base upon which to build.
There has been a lot of talk about arrivals and departures but one man I hope remains at the club in Jermaine Jenas. He is a fantastic player and considerable underrated by a lot of people.
He has been attracting a lot of interest with Inter Milan only one of the teams being linked with the player but if we are t improve next year we need to make sure it is a Spurs shirt that he is wearing next season and nothing else.
It will be very interesting to see who make the grade next season with the likes of David Bentley having struggled to establish himself after a big money move to the club.
We have an excellent backbone to the team which as long as we can keep fit have something great to build upon. How much money Harry gets in the summer will probably be determined by who gets grid of but there is plenty of potential to move some underachievers on and as long as we keep the key players like Jenas we can improve next season.

Spurs in Bangkok
They say that in the event of a nuclear war there will only be one thing that survives – cockroaches. Well, I would like to add Spurs supporters to this list. Try as they may Tottenham Hotspur supporters will not be crushed under the jackbooted heels of the top 4. No, in any major city in any part of the world you will find, if you look hard enough, a few hardy souls gathered around a TV set during any live match that features the mighty Lillywhites.

SIHK 3 Chelsea Supporters Club 1
For some reason it’s been a while since our last update(3 months!) but I’m not sure why since so much has happened. Spurs are on the up and SIHK FC were back in action as well. After a whooping by some youngsters from some HK professional team, Edman arranged a rematch with the Chelsea Supporters Club on the 16th of November. Unable to attend the game, I’ll let Barrel do the talking.
